Worst Hole
This will probably be a bit of a hot take, but I find the most famous hole at Eagle Springs to be the worst hole. Hole #2, the Volcano Hole, is incredibly penal for any shot that is even slightly offline, and it just doesn’t match the vibe of the resort. The second shot after any repelled tee shot is probably even harder. I can only imagine the amount of times people have waited on the tee and watched as golfers trek back and forth across the mountain top after a failed flop shot attempt. It’s a memorable hole, no doubt, but not a hole I like.
